In this role, you will serve as our in-house Google Analytics expert, bridging the gap between business intelligence and technical implementation. You will be responsible for managing, configuring, and optimizing our Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) ecosystems, ensuring accurate data collection and translating complex data into actionable insights that drive our digital strategy.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- GA4 Architecture & Management: Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of Google Analytics 4 properties, including custom dimensions, metrics, audiences, and data retention settings.
- Tag Management & Deployment: Design, deploy, and maintain tracking tags, triggers, and variables via Google Tag Manager (GTM) across various web and mobile properties.
- Data Layer Implementation: Partner with developers to define, implement, and maintain a robust, standardized Data Layer to ensure clean data capture.
- Reporting: Create, customize, and maintain automated dashboards and reports in GA4 Explorations for cross-functional stakeholders.
- Data Integrity & QA: Conduct regular audits and QA testing (using tools such as GTM Preview Mode, Tag Assistant, and BigQuery, where applicable) to ensure tracking accuracy and data privacy compliance, including Consent Mode v2.
- Troubleshooting: Act as the primary point of contact for diagnosing and resolving broken tags, tracking gaps, and data discrepancies.
- Document all cases and exchanges in Jira.
- Analyze requests from third parties to add or modify GTM and website tagging implementations to ensure alignment with business requirements and avoid conflicts or issues.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Technical Skills
- Deep, expert-level knowledge of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM); experience with server-side tagging is considered an asset.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, particularly for data layer implementation and custom GTM JavaScript variables.
- Proficiency in building intuitive, interactive dashboards and reports that support business decision-making.
- Experience implementing Google Consent Mode and integrating privacy-compliant tracking solutions.
- Familiarity with Google BigQuery for GA4 raw data exports and SQL is highly preferred.
