360.Agency is looking for a part-time Collections Agent. 

In this role, you will manage the full B2B collections lifecycle and act as the primary orchestrator of AI-powered tools integrated into the collections workflow. You will contribute to maximizing cash recovery and minimizing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) while collaborating with the team to ensure the accuracy and reliability of accounting information.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Outbound Collections: Conduct daily calls to B2B clients to negotiate payment arrangements and dispute resolutions in a professional, solution-oriented manner.
  • Written Communication: Draft personalized follow-up emails for delinquent accounts and manage automated email sequences.
  • AI Agent Orchestration: Act as the primary operator of AI-powered collections tools, reviewing and validating AI-generated actions and recommendations.
  • Cash Application Processing: Apply incoming payments accurately to invoices, investigate short payments, and resolve discrepancies with clients.
  • AR Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations between Sage and Freshbooks to identify and investigate system discrepancies.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with Sales and Customer Success teams to manage client relationships and support month-end close activities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: College diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or relevant experience.
  • Experience: 2–4 years of experience in B2B collections, accounts receivable, or a similar role.
  • Technical Proficiency: Good knowledge of accounting software (Sage 50, Excel, Google Suite) and exposure to AI-assisted tools or automation.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate effectively in English and French.
  • Soft Skills: High attention to detail, analytical mind, autonomy, and strong negotiation skills.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working with computer systems and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
