From June 9 to 12, the 360.Agency Cycles Régis team had the chance to participate one more year in the Grand défi Pierre Lavoie, a fundraising event that counts 1075 cyclists and 800 volunteers. In 2019, the foundation distributed $3.4 million in scholarships and grants to support research on orphaned hereditary diseases and projects promoting healthy lifestyle habits.

The Grand défi Pierre Lavoie is an event that counts 215 teams of 5 cyclists and 800 volunteers! In 2019, the foundation distributed $3.4 million in scholarships and grants to support research on orphaned hereditary diseases and projects promoting healthy lifestyle habits.

Our five cyclists Louis-Yves Cloutier, Daniel Martin, Julie Cloutier, Steeve Tremblay, Jonathan Ciampa and their driver François Fortier followed the peloton led by triathlete Pierre Lavoie from Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean to Montreal despite the bad weather.

In fact, to accomplish the challenge, they had to be ready for some rain: in 4 days of cycling, the precipitation forecast never went below 30%, up to a maximum of 70%!

All in all, our cyclists took turns riding every 270 km day and night for a total of 1000 km in 60 uninterrupted hours! Congratulations to them, and thanks to the donors and volunteers!
