Are you interested in joining a growing company?
We are looking for a Web Analytics Specialist to join our team of experts. You must excel in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and have knowledge in conversion, UX, and the web in general. You will be tasked with defining and implementing best practices for ‘tagging and tracking’ for our clients’ websites (over 800 automotive dealership sites). You will be involved in selecting and analyzing KPIs, reporting, and being the reference point.
You will need to collaborate with various teams to deliver relevant data, adjust tracking settings based on website developments and standards set by third parties.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for analytics-related topics: analyze and resolve issues in support of other departments.
- Define, implement, and maintain an analytical solutions policy for all client websites.
- Participate in the configuration of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Google Ads, Facebook for pixel installation, event tracking, conversions, etc
- Verify their compliance.
- Prepare and implement third-party changes.
- Implement automated and/or customized reports when necessary.
- Provide training and documentation for support teams.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in a relevant field (Marketing, e-commerce, administration, science, programming).
- Expert in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in digital marketing and data collection tools.
- Excellent reporting, analysis, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with different teams.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly-organized.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of management.
- Bilingual (french and english)

Data Analysis Skills:

Experience with Facebook Pixel / Conversion API:
- Understanding Conversion API installation.
- Grasping the concept of deduplication.
- Familiarity with the Facebook Business Manager interface.
- Understanding pixel integration through GTM.
- Proficiency in debugging pixel events.
Experience with Google Tag Manager:
- Capability to pinpoint the source of a bug/conflict.
- Understanding different types of tags.
- Ability to create a tag for a requested event.
- Grasping the concept of parameters in a tag.
- Knowing the difference between different triggers to make the right choice.
- Ability to use the Tag Assistant / Debugger.
- Skilled at using a tag template in specific situations.
- Understanding various types of variables.
- Understanding user and rights management.
- Understanding server-side tagging.
Experience in JavaScript (an advantage):
- Understanding errors in the console.
- Ability to write a custom HTML tag or modify code within a tag.
Experience with GA4 / Universal Analytics:
- Understanding the old UA model and its GA4 equivalent.
- Grasping property configuration.
- Understanding the structure (data streams, properties, accounts).
- Understanding different types of predefined reports.
- Grasping how to construct an Exploration report.
- Understanding the concept of cross-domain tracking.
- Understanding the concept of conversions.
- Understanding the concept of custom dimensions.
- Understanding the concept of audiences.
- Understanding the concept of segments.
Experience with Google Search Console:
- Ability to resolve errors.
- Ability to understand the concept of indexing.
- Ability to grasp user/verified owner management.
- Ability to submit a sitemap.
- Ability to submit URLs.
Other Skills:
- Ability to conduct research.
- Experience with Data Layer implementation.
- Grasping the concept of variables and values.
- Understanding integration with events/custom dimensions.
- Understanding event triggering via the data layer.
